Summer is here and so are a number of festivals all across Britain; nothing can stop the summer jams and pool parties now. The festivals in Britain don’t really wait for summers to happen but as the sun has its ruling days on it gives us another reason to rock and roll. London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Scotland etc. no city has failed to provide a platform to the people coming from across the world for vacations. Download – June 9 – 11 June 2017
Download is one heck of a hard rock and heavy metal music festival for new generation music to the tunes of the 70s. Download has its roots strongly firm on the ground of music momentous that it is recognized as the attraction of music lovers from all across the world. Any real time bands and top notch musicians that are into hard rock and metal music are always found in its stage line-up. Download is the one music festival that doesn’t get lost in the worldwide noise created by an endless number of music events. This is why the summer of 2017 you need to grab on to the tickets and head to Derby’s Donington Park.
Parklife Festival – 10 – 11 June 2017
Another of the prominent music scene rising from the northwest of Manchester is the Parklife music festival. Parklife promises live electric music performances that provide diverse genres including indie rock, hip-hop and alternative acts to dance around all weekend long. The event is endorsed by local music promoters The Warehouse Project and has a huge student following which has led the event being a summer faddish. Expect lineup as big as The Chemical brothers, Ice Cube, Major Lazer, Carl Cox, 1975 and more. Curious Art Festival 21 – 23 July

Curious art festival is happening mid-July at PYLEWELL PARK HAMPSHIRE and the best thing about it is that it is very English. With the joint venture of great British musicians and even greater English novelists, you can expect an experience that is more than just a few tents in a field. It is also about exceptional historians, poet laureates, dogs on leads, gin and tonics; Billy Bragg is signed up for this year. While Authors include Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’s Deborah Moggach, are making an appearance and there is stand-up from the likes of Simon Evans and Zoe Lyons. With bat walks, puppet making and an Alice in Wonderland tea party Curious is a kid friendly event of the year.

One Tribe Festival – 3 – 8 August 2017
One Tribe Festival is the event that you cannot miss no matter what it costs you because it is already the coolest thing happening this summer. Brace yourself for this one because in 24 hours and 5 days; there will be music and entertainment of endless rhythm and beats coming from tribal drummers and acoustic musicians. The event will begin from 3rd August midday and will continue until wee hours through 8th August. Each day the line-up will be themed thus coming from various tribes promising to provide healing and contentment to all human senses.

Reading Festival – 25 – 27 August 2017
Another wave of madness coming from a three-day outdoor event that celebrates indie rock, electronic and hip-hop music is Reading festival. Reading festival has a line-up that you wouldn’t resist and the big names have been the descendants from the past. The festival has been the hall of fame for bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Radio Heads, Arctic Monkey etc. while this year the headliners include Kasabian, Muse, Eminem, Major Lazer, Bastille and more. If you are in for this event means you have spent the summer worth the sunburn.
Reading Festival is being held at Little John’s Farm, Richfield Avenue which sits just outside Reading town centre on the banks of the River Thames, London.
